OUR MISSIONThe Chatham Historical Society is dedicated to discovering and sharing the rich history of Chatham Borough, New Jersey. Founded in 1924, the Chatham Historical Society brings people together who are interested in the history and the on-going development of the borough. Information of historical interest is presented through programs, publications and other media. The Society encourages an appreciation of the borough’s historic character and recognizes that today’s residents, places and events will become our history.
